Covid-19 & Home Inspections

As of March 19, 2020, our policy for inspection attendance has changed due to the current pandemic. For the safety of our inspectors, our clients and Realtor friends, we recommend nobody attend our inspections. Because our inspectors are physically touching many surfaces in a home, we will be using rubber gloves during the inspection. Once the inspection is complete, we will generate the inspection report that same day and send it via PDF/email. In some situations our inspectors will take video footage of more complicated or serious issues and forward these videos along. Once the parties involved have had a chance to review the report, our inspectors would be glad to have a phone conference the following day to answer any questions. Please let your inspector know if this is a preference by replying to the email that contains your report.

Before we enter your home, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our customers and our inspectors. Below is a list of some of the CDC guided steps we are taking: 

• Safety First - Health is our priority. If an inspector notices any signs of illness, they will be instructed to stay home and self-quarantine.

• Sanitizing - Our team is carrying disinfectant and use it regularly.

• Hand Washing - Inspectors are required to wash their hands before and after each appointment.

• Distancing - Inspectors will avoid handshakes and maintain safe distance during their visit.
